ComAp introduces InteliSys 2000, the most powerful controller in their power generation portfolio. Primarily created for gas gen-sets in combined heat and power applications, this powerful control solution can also master any power generation control task, including standard diesel gen-sets or any source with synchronous or asynchronous generators, including hydro power plants. With its powerful hardware, third voltage measurement, and extensive PLC capacity, InteliSys 2000 is also suitable for demanding power generation applications. InteliSys 2000 is set for release this March.
“With tightening emission reduction, grid codes and security requirements, we wanted to bring a capable solution for the gas and CHP market. A solution that can be adapted to new technologies thanks to its flexibility, openness and large internal resources,” says Lukas Mrkvicka, Senior Product Manager for CHP at ComAp.
Complex Systems Controlled with Ease
In ComAp's approach, complex control systems don't require advanced programming skills. With enhanced preprogrammed functions, like control of air-fuel ratio, circuit breakers or communication with multi-ECUs, InteliSys 2000 makes the configuration of a CHP site much easier and more efficient. For more complex sites, the extensive built-in PLC, the largest in ComAp's portfolio (approximately three times bigger than in InteliGen 1000), adds additional flexibility and configuration options for demanding projects.
Powerful Hardware and Rigorous Cyber Security
Powerful hardware, demonstrated by wide communication capabilities and high accuracy and range of AC values, can be further scaled up with extension modules connected via CAN bus, enabling hundreds of binary and analog signals. As one of the most powerful systems on the market, InteliSys 2000 naturally meets the latest legislative requirements, including grid codes (EN 50549, VDE-AR-N 4110(4105), G99, G100, IEEE 1547), emission standards (Stage V and Tier4Final) and security standards (ISA62443-4-2).
