ComAp Continues to Support Ukraine and Donated a Gen-set to Chernihiv Hospital

ComAp has supported Ukraine since the beginning of the war last year.  Financially, with material donations, online training for power system operators and by supporting Ukrainian refugees in finding suitable job vacancies in our headquarters. This year, we had a chance to connect with a hospital in the Chernihiv region, and together with our esteemed customer FOGO, we donated a much-needed backup gen-set that provides the hospital with essential electricity supply for the emergency systems in times of blackouts.

“One of our philanthropy pillars is a Disaster Relief Fund that allows us to support such unique situations that are close to the regions we operate in,” says Barbora Vajnarova, Marketing Communication Manager who is also in charge of ComAp's Philanthropy programme.

“After the first year of the war in Ukraine, we were thinking of other ways to support this region further. Thanks to our colleague Ondrej Stehlik, we found contacts in the hospital in Chernihiv, which was in need of a backup gen-set that would allow them to preserve the emergency operations in times of blackouts,” explains Jakub Lelito, Managing Director of ComAp Central and Eastern Europe.

We are glad we can help in war-affected areas and support them with needed financial and material support. With our customer FOGO, we donated a diesel gen-set that is also controlled by ComAp´s InteliGen 1000. “Our mission wouldn´t be successful without local volunteers, namely Oleg Baran, who helped us spot a suitable hospital”, says Ondrej Stehlik, Strategic Development Director at ComAp.
