Transitioning to more sustainable energy sources is on top of the power generation and energy management agenda. This specialized training program offers an introduction to Hybrid Microgrid Controllers, highlighting their key features and practical applications. The course includes an overview of InteliConfig, covers the fundamentals of configuring InteliNeo 5500/6000 controllers for specific control functions, and concludes with hands-on simulations using our Starter Kits. 


After successfully completing this training session, participants will receive ComAp certificates of completion for the course. ComAp certificates are provided at all training locations worldwide, and we ensure that knowledge and expertise remain at the same level.

This course is suitable for customers who are new to Hybrid Microgrid segment or are not familiar with ComAp products and applications.

DAY 1
09:00 - 12:00 Marine portfolio and applicaion overview 
Fundamentals of Marine applications, covering ComAp controller types (InteliDrive, InteliGen, ...), extension units, case studies, etc. 
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch break
12:45 - 16:00 Basics of Configuration
Practical Detailed introduction of the configuration tool InteliConfig. it features hands-on excercises for firmware upgrades, protection settings, and troubleshooting, enabling participants to effectively set up and manage advanced controller functions in real-world applications. 

DAY 2
09:00 - 12:00 Communication and monitoring
This part provides communication options for marine controllers and in-depth overview of communication interfaces, cyber security practices, and remote connectivity for ComAp controllers, including integration with third party systems. It includes troubleshooting of communication issues and managing control functions such as engine start/stop and alarm monitoring.​​
12:00 - 13:00  Lunch break
13:00 - 16:30 Practical simulations & test/feedback
Hands-on simulation exercises for Marine systems, using an emulation kit to explore various operational scenarios. Participants experience configuring and testing island and parallel operations. Final test with explanation & feedback.
